European Games
RES and PRG Projects (formerly Projects BE) joined forces to create a multi-person custom video installation on a scale never seen before. 504 bespoke wireless LED hexagons took to the field of play during the closing ceremony of the European Games in Baku, Azerbaijan, to create a one of a kind visual spectacle. The synchronised movements of the trained hexagon carriers on stage in unison with the finely tuned playback system and content enabled the creation of a living, moving screen. I worked alongside the project architect Dave Green in the initial phases of the project in the UK and Belgium, then on site where I managed and maintained the custom made network based software system and delivered the show.
